PROPOSED SALE OF FARNHAM PARK GOLF COURSE
We should like to thank all of you for signing our Petition. We are now coming to the end when the Council is due to make their decision as to whether to sell or leave it as it is.
The Action Committee have some dates for you and we now need your help to assist us in our final push.
We are holding an open meeting on THURSDAY 19TH JUNE at 7.30 p.m. at the Clubhouse to bring everyone up to date on the Action Committee's dealings with the Council and Councillors. Please make every effort to be here.
TUESDAY 24TH JUNE - 6.00 p.m. This is the date of the Cabinet Meeting and we need as many people as possible to attend at Capswood, Oxford Road, Denham, Bucks arriving approximately 5.00 p.m. Here the decision will be made whether or not to sell. We are inviting the Press and will be handing in the petition. We also have banners expressing our views
TUESDAY 8TH JULY - 6.00 p.m. This is the date of the Full Council Meeting where the decision to sell or not will be ratified. Once again we need as many people as possible to attend from 5.00 p.m. at Capswood, Oxford Road, Denham, Bucks. We will also be taking with us the banners and hope to have the local Press.
The Council are watching the Number 10 website petition and if you have not already registered please do so before 24th June - each name counts. The website is http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Farnham-Golf/
